The Story Behind the Print
In December 2022, Mr Winston (the Australian fashion label founded by Karen and Ella Davidson) released their first illustrator collaboration with Milan-based artist Constanza Starrabba. The piece — featuring her “Ciliegie Rosse” (Italian for “red cherries”) artwork on the front and the bubble-script “Sport / Disegnati a Milano” back print — sold out within minutes of dropping. It’s since become one of the brand’s most-referenced pieces, restocked sporadically across the years.
We stock the Cherry Puff Hoodie when it’s available through our supply network, and ship it to NZ customers who’d otherwise have to navigate Australian-direct shipping costs and seasonal waitlists. The Cherry Puff sits in the standard (non-Boyfriend) silhouette. The puff print on the back uses raised plastisol, not flat screen — meaning the lettering has actual physical depth and ages with the fabric instead of cracking in the wash.
Fabric weight: 380gsm brushed-back cotton fleece. Same heavyweight construction as every Mr Winston puff hoodie in the range — soft inside, structured outside, holds the oversized shape after washing if you treat it right.
Fit notes: Standard fit (not Boyfriend). Take your usual size for a relaxed oversized look. Size up one if you want it longer through the body and dropped further at the shoulder — common with wider-frame customers. The Cherry print sits across the upper back and shoulder area, fully visible whether you wear it solo or layered.

Is this the original Mr Winston Cherry Puff or a knockoff?
We source from supply partners who carry genuine stock when restocks happen. We’re not the original brand (mrwinstonco.com is — they’re the Davidsons in Melbourne). We’re an independent retailer making the piece available to the NZ market at the price we can secure it for.
Why is the Cherry edition cheaper than other puff hoodies?
The price reflects what we paid in our last stock acquisition. The Cherry edition has gone through enough restock cycles that we’re often able to source it slightly below the standard puff hoodie tier. If supply tightens, the price moves accordingly.
Will the Cherry print fade if I wash it normally?
The puff plastisol holds up well to cold washing — what kills it is heat. Avoid the dryer, avoid hot water, avoid ironing the print directly. Treated correctly, the lettering stays raised and intact for 100+ wash cycles. We’ve had original-stock pieces from 2022 still looking sharp on customers.
Does the back print show clearly through layering?
Yes — the print is positioned high on the back, between the shoulder blades. If you wear a long open coat or a structured jacket over the top, the print will still be visible from the back. Closed-front layering (a zipped jacket) covers it completely.
What ships with this hoodie?
Just the hoodie. We don’t include the original Mr Winston tote bag (that’s a brand-direct extra not typically available through our supply chain). Order tracking goes to your email at dispatch. NZ delivery 7–14 business days from dispatch.
